Excerpt: "The fact that all the political, religious, economic, and philosophical systems of the past have brought no solutions to this world that are Best for All is obvious. But is it a fact that one can do very little to change oneself and the world? Obviously we cannot look to the systems of the past, as they have only existed to perpetuate and repeat what came before. Although the forms may be different (eg capitalism vs communism) the result is always the same: mistrust between humans, abuse of each other and the environment, and the physical suffering of the vast majority of beings on the planet."
